Geoff joined the year-round team as the Advancement Director in the Fall of 2016. In this role, Geoff is the primary liaison with the Belknap community to fulfill the vision of Belknap’s Strategic Plan of protecting, preserving, and strengthening camp for years to come. He received a B.A. from Colorado College.

Geoff returned to Belknap after a decade of work in sales, marketing, and building companies. Most recently, Geoff was the CEO and co-founder of Oxbow Brewing Company, which Geoff grew to a staff of 25 employees at multiple facilities throughout Maine. The businesses that Geoff helped launch continue to thrive.

Starting as a Cadet camper in 1990, Geoff was a camper in every division before becoming a Cabin Leader, Middler Division Head and then the Leader Corps Director in 2003 and 2004. He is a history buff and specializes in all things Belknap! You can often find Geoff digging through the Belknap archives.

Geoff and his wife, Dash, reside in Yarmouth, Maine, with their sons Griffin and Lyle. Keeping with camp tradition, the Maslands have a black lab, Rook, who loves to wander around camp looking for treats. Griffin and Lyle also enjoy time under the pines as Belknap campers.
