Makayla graduated from Endicott College in 2024 with her Ed.D in Educational Leadership, where she studied how student experiences influence persistence and retention in higher education programs. She also holds an MFA in Choreography and has experience in and outside of the classroom working in multiple colleges and universities and for non-profits in the arts. Makayla is looking forward to continuing her work around cultivating positive experiences and supporting enrollment initiatives.

Makayla and her husband Sean live in Milton Mills, New Hampshire and spend a lot of time on their family’s farm. They just welcomed their son Waylon into the world in January 2025, and look forward to introducing him around camp. Makayla joined the Camp Belknap team in March 2025.
